Thanks for all the great ideas and comments! I love hearing from everyone! I am having such fun with this giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI am a special ed. teacher for intensive resource, my favorite way to teach phonics has been Zoo Phonics, I saw more students learn the alphabet sounds and start to put together CVC words to read and spell, faster then any other method. I had a student who hadn't been able to learn and remember his letters or sounds, two weeks after introducing Zoo Phonics, he was naming, id sounds and spelling words! Paula

We had had an inservice by a college professor and our district bought her phonics program to use in K-2. It involves a lot of writing and is all sound, chunks oriented. I really like it!
ReplyDeleteWhat is her program called? It is so interesting to hear all the different ways people teach phonics:)
DeleteCongrats on the 100+! One of the programs I use is called Super Sounder!
