I am listening to Grimm. I am a hopeless TV addict especially crime dramas but over the last few months I have been very busy and very addicted to sappy Hallmark Christmas movies that I have not kept up with my shows. I have spent the last couple of days watching backlogged episodes from my DVR.
I don't know about you but I am totally loving break! I desperately needed time away from work and I have been love, love, loving time with my hubby and kiddos.
Thinking I definitely feel refreshed and ready to face the rest of the school year with a smile. A little time to veg out is just what I needed.
(Wanting) I still have some projects that I would like to finish up before returning to work on Monday. I have gotten a few things done but I have a couple more things I need to get in order before I jump back on the hamster wheel of life:)
I need to start thinking school and get myself organized which is another goal for the new year!
Our Christmas started out in Chicago which was a blast with shopping, buses, the L, great food, Rudolph the Musical, and of course a museum. We then had a relaxing Christmas at home.
Sending everyone warm new years wishes! I for one can't wait to see what the new year holds!
I love your cute blog! I just discovered it through the currently linky party! It sounds like you had a great and relaxing winter break! Like you, I also feel that I need to starting getting back to the school mindset :) I hope you have a fantastic new year!
ReplyDeleteGlad to have found your blog through Farley's linky! I agree with you on the needing to lesson plan! I've been putting it off this whole break and need to get on it before starting next week!!! :)

I'm a TV addict too! I generally don't have time to watch when they're on so I love a lazy Saturday catching up on old episodes! Enjoy the rest of your break!

Scrolling through the blogs in the Currently linky, your blog name immediately caught my eye! I teach 2nd grade and have a very challenging class this year, in terms of reading levels. I really need to step up phonics instruction in my classroom! I would really love to learn more from you!
ReplyDeleteWhat are your favorite phonics resources? You have so many great things in your TPT shop... not sure where to start!
